Words to Live By

Name:
Location: Absecon, New Jersey, United States

An independent person who is usually able to handle things in a self-sufficient manner, which draws people to her! But that's not the only thing. She is a smart person who is more able to understand complex concepts than many other people do. She’s a reliable and dependable person whom others can usually count on, too. She has a deep desire to be kind and fair to others since she fears cruelty. She is more susceptible than others to being overwhelmed by emotions — both hers and others'. Her unusually empathic nature is a result of her natural sensitivity to others' pain, and her desire to help them avoid it. She has an optimistic nature thus sees the best in the people around her. Because she’s not one to be overly judgmental, others usually seek out her company when they need a friend to talk to. People close to her heart likely know that she cares deeply about the inner lives of others and can listen to what they have to say without imposing her views on them.

Beauty

Even I don't wake up looking like Cindy Crawford.
- Cindy Crawford

A mode of conduct, a standard of courage, discipline, fortitude, and integrity can do a great deal to make a woman beautiful!

A face is too slight a foundation for happiness.

You can take NO credit for beauty at sixteen. But if you are beautiful at sixty, it will be your soul's own doing.

Believing in Ourselves

Think of yourself as the CEO of your life.
Now that you are in charge, give yourself permission to acknowledge your desires.
Use your mind to empower you, not limit you.

Children

Children are apt to live up to what you believe of them.

Live Life to its Fullest

It isn't the GREAT BIG pleasures that count the most; it's making a GREAT DEAL out of the LITTLE ONES.

Aloneness

Any woman who accepts aloneness as the natural by-product of success is accepting the punishment for a crime she didn't commit.

We are more blind to what we have than to what we have not!

Sister

For this is no friend like a sister
In calm or stormy weather;
To cheer one on the tedious way,
To fetch one if one goes astray,
To lift one if one totters down,
To strengthen whilst one stands.

Intergrate what you believe in every single area of your life.  Take your heart to work and ask the most and the best of everybody else too!

Wishing DOES NOT make it so. ASK, and you at least have a chance!

You are Gifted

Each of us is gifted with great potential - for wisdom, creativity, love, kindness, compassion, strength, and tenderness.

Time

"Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend."

                                                     ~ Laertius Diogenes

Life

"Never forget that life can only be nobly inspired and rightly lived if you take it bravely and gallantly, as a splendid adventure in which you are setting out into an unknown country, to meet many a joy, to find many a comrade, to win and lose many a battle."

The dedicated life is the life worth living.
You must give with your whole heart.

Dreams

Maybe we are less than our dreams, but that less would make us more than some gods would dream of.

"You are never given a dream without also being given the power to make it true. You may have to work for it, however."

"Making detailed plans is where dreams are snared and fantasies are caught. When you take the time to think ahead, any project -- regardless of how complex or difficult -- becomes nothing more than a series of future steps leading to a desired objective. These objectives, when completed, will then take you anywhere you want to go."

Helping Others

In helping others, we shall help ourselves, for whatever good we give out completes the circle * comes back to us.

Fatigue

"Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task."

"Do not allow yourselves to be disheartened by any failure as long as you have done your best."

Attitude

A strong positive attitude would create more miracles than any wonder drug!

Success or failure depends more upon attitude than upon capacity. Successful men/women act as though they have accomplished or are enjoying something. Soon it becomes a reality. Act, look, feel successful, conduct yourself accordingly, and you will be amazed at the positive results.

A positive and proactive attitude is VITAL to your success. Permit it to turn sour, and you rob your future of hope and promise. Nurture it, and you gain an instant power boost... a boost that automatically raises the intensity of your other Colors as well.

Your speech is a direct link to your emotions. Change one and you'll change the other. Your internal "self-talk" directly affects your expectations, and your expectations govern the way you act.

You cannot speak in a negative manner and productively focus on what needs to get done at the same time. If you want to think and feel more powerfully, then learn to SPEAK in a way that reflects positive and powerful feelings.

Our attitudes control our lives. Attitudes are a secret power working twenty-four hours a day, for good or bad. It is of paramount importance that we know how to harness and control this great force.

Genius

What is genius - but the power of expressing a new individuality.
